By registering for or participating in any trekking, camping, backpacking, cycling, or outdoor adventure organized by TraWell Amigos, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this comprehensive Risk and Liability Waiver.
Outdoor activities—including but not limited to trekking in the Sahyadri mountains, Western Ghats, and high-altitude Himalayan terrain, cave explorations, waterfall hikes, riverside camping, coastal cycling, and rock scrambling—take place in raw, dynamic natural environments. These activities entail inherent and unavoidable risks that cannot be completely eliminated, including:
Every participant affirms that they possess adequate physical endurance, stamina, and mental readiness suitable for the graded difficulty of the chosen expedition. Participants specifically declare that:
TraWell Amigos upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy against the possession or consumption of alcohol, narcotics, smoking, tobacco products, and illicit drugs from boarding the transport to return drop-off. Any traveler found in violation will be immediately off-boarded and barred from the expedition without refund, and reported to law enforcement where necessary.
In the unforeseen event of physical distress, acute injury, or trauma, participants expressly authorize TraWell Amigos trek leaders to administer certified wilderness first-aid and coordinate immediate evacuation to the nearest medical clinic, primary health center (PHC), or hospital. Any professional hospital fees, ambulance charges, specialized medications, or rescue logistics remain the exclusive financial responsibility of the participant or their designated emergency contact.
TraWell Amigos assumes zero responsibility for lost, stolen, water-damaged, or broken personal belongings, including cameras, smartphones, smartwatches, jewelry, spectacles, or luggage during transit, camping, or hiking. Travelers are advised to use reliable dry bags and waterproof pouches.
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian Law, the participant (for themselves, their heirs, executors, and administrators):
This waiver agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any legal dispute, courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
