1. Nature of Adventure Tourism

TraWell Amigos conducts outdoor experiential treks, backpacking journeys, cycling expeditions, and camping events. Participants recognize that adventure tours differ fundamentally from conventional leisure vacations. Facilities in remote mountain regions (such as basic homestays, village-cooked meals, rural transport, or tent accommodations) prioritize authenticity and wilderness safety over luxury.

2. Age Limits & Minor Participation

• Participants must be at least 18 years of age to book independently.
• Minors aged 10 to 17 years may participate in designated beginner to moderate treks only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or with signed parental consent.
• Certain demanding technical treks (e.g. Alang Madan Kulang, Sandhan Valley full traverse, Harishchandragad via Nalichi Vaat) have strict minimum age thresholds (typically 16+ or 18+).

3. Wilderness Code of Conduct & Eco-Ethics

• Strict Leave No Trace (LNT): Throwing plastic wrappers, empty bottles, or non-biodegradable waste along trails, caves, or water bodies is strictly prohibited. Trekkers must carry all personal trash back in their daypacks.
• Preservation of Historical Heritage: Defacing ancient Maratha fort structures, carving names on bastions, or desecrating idols and monuments is an offense punishable under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act.
• Wildlife & Local Communities: Do not play loud portable speakers in wildlife sanctuaries or quiet mountain villages. Respect local customs and village hosts.
• Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Any form of verbal abuse, physical altercations, eve-teasing, or discriminatory behavior towards co-trekkers, local villagers, or trek staff will result in immediate expulsion from the trip without refund.

4. Absolute Authority of the Trek Leader

To ensure participant safety, the appointed TraWell Amigos Trek Leader exercises complete operational authority throughout the expedition. In cases of sudden adverse weather, route blockades, physical distress of a co-trekker, or trail hazards, the leader's instructions regarding turnaround times, camp alterations, or rerouting are final, binding, and non-negotiable.

5. Transport & Punctuality Standards

Shared transport (Non-AC/AC private buses or Tempo Travelers) operates on strict schedules to reach trailheads before daylight heat and avoid mountain curfews. Participants must arrive at their designated pickup stop at least 15 minutes before the scheduled boarding time. Vehicles cannot hold schedules for delayed individuals; missed pickups are treated as no-shows under our Booking Policy.

6. Intellectual Property & Digital Content

All content on https://www.trawellamigos.com/, including trek itineraries, photographs, brand logos, trail maps, and editorial text, is the exclusive intellectual property of TraWell Amigos. Unauthorized reproduction, commercial distribution, or scraping without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any irreconcilable dispute arising from or related to our services, the exclusive legal jurisdiction shall lie with the competent courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
